Questions
An ancient French glassmaking technique. Crystal paste, ground glass mixed with mineral pigments, is packed by hand into a mould, then fired at high temperature. The result is dense, translucent, and impossible to replicate by machine.
24 karat gold. No alloy, no plating over base metal. Applied by hand after the crystal work is complete.
Three months, minimum. Each mould is used once and then destroyed. No two pieces are identical.
Yes. The Cavallo Eleto is part of a limited collection. Because no mould is used twice, every piece is unique by nature. Availability is finite.
Most crystal pieces are blown or pressed. Pâte de Cristal is packed by hand into a single use mould. The density, translucency, and detail achieved cannot be replicated through any other method.
